Large Animal Mobile Practic

The Large Animal Teaching Hospitals Mobile Practic provides service to the community in the suburbs of Copenhagen. Patients included are mostly horses, cattle, small ruminants and hobby-pig, but also the occasional exotics.

The practice offers a wide range of services on site and have the option of direct admission or examination in the Large Animal Teaching Hospital, if this is considered best.

Every year approx. 2000 patients are visited by the mobile practice. Students follow along and are trained - in a kind of apprenticeship - in the veterinary profession, in examination, treatment and client communication.
